PINCORP PRESS RELEASE

MAY 20, 1983

    Design work has been finished for the layout of the first P.I.N. BALL project arena. However, testing in the simulations is reporting an unexpected degree of lethality compared to our original models. While I know this is short notice ahead of next month’s construction, I would advise against moving forward until the design can completely be reworked by my team. I’m including the documents here for review.

Greetings PINCORP Team,

    It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the sudden passing of our Science Department Chair ██████████████. Before their untimely death, ██████████████

was thankfully able to complete the designs for our first P.I.N. BALL project arena and construction will be moving forward as planned next month. I would also like to welcome a close friend of mine, █████████████████, on as the new Science Department Chair of PINCORP moving forward.

DECEMBER 27, 1983

    We’ve resolved all of the remaining issues with P.I.N. balls.  Motion tracking is now working very smoothly.  We also resolved the issue with the rounds going off in the chamber. This should decrease accidental losses in testing and allow us to retrieve more accurate data on pilot skill. I would however advise not to decrease the rate of pilots being recruited, our aces are only going to get better at what they do.

Watch our best pilots narrowly avoid fate as they bounce from bumper to bumper, wall to wall, and hail each other dazzling laser fire. Each match is a thrilling spectacle unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Our pilots are trained to weave their way through any obstacle we throw at them, but one wrong move and they can be sent flying! You’ll be on the edge of your seat as they lose control of their weapons! Will the flippers be able to save them before they fall into the drain? Will they be lucky enough to fall into a gutter and stall for just enough time to regain control? You’ll have to come down and see for yourself!
