PINCORP INTERNAL CORRESPONDENCE ARCHIVE (1983-1984)

MAY 12, 1983

Backing from our sponsors at  ███████████████████████ has allowed us to create a computerized simulation of the P.I.N. BALL project. Suffice to say, our sponsor's simulation technology is years, even decades, beyond what we would be able to create internally and I believe you will all be pleased with the results. The attached images are the latest and show the simulation accurately reproducing the mechanics that our department has planned for.

Construction is coming along as expected on the P.I.N. BALL project.  We received the wireform launch ramps last week and have begun integrating them into the subterranean launch bays.  Both bumper prototypes are behaving as anticipated.  We’re expecting test results from the █████████████ department by the end of the week.  Bumper launch velocities will be adjusted accordingly.

Test pilots are reporting uneasiness with the velocity of movement and rotation of the Pilotable Intra-Neural Ball (PINBALL) prototypes. While we believe they will eventually adapt to navigating at these speeds, perhaps it would be best to decrease the launching velocities of the bumpers as previously discussed?

The pilots are however adapting remarkably well to controlling the weapons systems of the prototype. A few of our “aces” have even demonstrated unprecedented ability to use both weapon systems simultaneously to control their velocity while maintaining precise aim. By our current predictions, all pilots should be able to eventually acclimate to this level.

Losses are within expected ranges.

The PINBALL prototypes are now functional.  Weapons systems have some occasional synchronization issues but are otherwise working as expected—should just be a minor error.  I've attached our updated prototype blueprints.  We’ve noticed some disparities between positional and rotational tracking in the PINBALL.  We’ll be attempting to reduce the bandwidth of tracking updates to fix this.

Additionally, the energy field systems are functioning.  Opponent gunfire drains the PINBALL’s energy reserve as expected.  Once the engineering department has finalized changes to the ball return system the game should be fully operational.

PINCORP Executive Board,

█████████████ sent out another cease and desist order today.  With the new mandates we’re taking down interactive video companies left and right.  Attached is a copy of the order we sent out to █████ Technologies.

Greetings PINCORP Team,

As requested, PINCORP has purchased the majority shares in █████████ and █████████████.  We now hold 93% of the AEA controlled market share.  We’re on track to reach our target goal of 99% by ████████.  In the coming weeks we will move forward with dissolving the newly acquired companies and moving their assets over to the respective PINCORP departments.

Let's reclaim American amusements,

█████████████

Chairman ██████,

Our full advertisement rollout is on schedule for the end of the week.  As requested, the final cut of our advertisement will include █████████████, words from █████████████, and ███████████.

We’re rolling to a safer future,

██████████████
