A time of crisis!  The VIDEO GAME CRASH OF 1983 has dealt a catastrophic blow to the corporate video game empires.  In the wake of this economic recession, the game of PINBALL has eclipsed the interactive amusement industry.  In a year's time, video games are eradicated by the newly formed AMUSEMENT ENTERTAINMENT AUTHORITY.  Tasked with capturing the attention of an audience hungry for the VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES that once were, the game of COMBAT PINBALL is forged…

RULES OF THE GAME

In the COMBAT PINBALL arena, your goal is to ring out your opponents by sending them down the DRAIN.  

Each PINBALL is equipped with a two-piece arsenal: the BLAST shot, and the SPRAY shot.  The recoil of your gunfire will propel your PINBALL in the opposite direction.  Utilize this to traverse the arena.  The BLAST shot has a heavy recoil that can be used to quickly change the PINBALL’s velocity.  The SPRAY shot has a lower recoil that can be used to smoothly guide the PINBALL around the arena.  Combine these two weapon types to master movement in the COMBAT PINBALL arena.

Each PINBALL is equipped with an ENERGY REGENERATION system.  When a PINBALL is hit by an ENEMY BULLET, it depletes energy.  If your PINBALL’s energy is completely emptied, your WEAPON SYSTEMS will shut down temporarily and you will be at the mercy of the PHYSICS of PINBALL.

In the DEATHMATCH gamemode, all players have an infinite number of lives.  Your ranking is determined by the number of times you have entered the DRAIN.

COMBAT PINBALL will launch at the Florida Polytechnic Game Expo on April 23. It will be available to play online and we'll be on the livestream talking about the game!
